Herbert hit the road for a busy month of shows in June
Herbert’s busy month of June, which saw them take in 4 shows around the UK, proved to be very worthwhile as it led to many new enquires and created sales for the Herbert team.
The first event in a full June calendar was the Cereals Event, held locally at Chrishall Grange near Cambridge. Herbert chose to display their market leading Contractor II along with the recently redesigned Box Filler, and attracted many visitors to the stand. The new branding worked exceptionally well, and made sure Herbert stood out amongst its competitors.
Herbert then moved onto their exciting first time display at Futuresource, a recycling event held at the Excel in London with over 350 exhibitors. This was an excellent way to introduce the Herbert name to the recycling industry, and a very successful show due to the number of enquiries received and new contacts made.
Another first time event for Herbert was the International Potato Processing and Storage event, held in Edinburgh. In addition to the stand area, which featured information and literature about the Auto-sort, Herbert were also invited to give a speech to the delegates on the subject of “Potato handling technology - today and tomorrow”, which was presented by Dr Hartmut Gall, a consultant to Herbert Engineering who has worked in the potato industry for 25 years.
Herbert were back on more familiar territory at The Royal Highland Show, also in Edinburgh. Opting for a smaller scale exhibit than last time, Herbert chose to display the new design GF2 Box Filler alongside a new Grader Module and were located perfectly on the main avenue of potato companies. Although the show itself was not as well attended as previous years, the Herbert stand still received good levels of visitors and confirmed an order whilst at the show.
